Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs… since the payment is pure love. ~Mildred B. Vermont
Mothers are incredible people. Only a mother (and single fathers, to a degree) truly knows how much work it is to raise children. Only a mother can selflessly take care of another person so completely, and only a mother understands how maternal love is the truest kind of love. I can honestly say that before I had children, I did not think it was possible to love a small creature more than I loved my cat. Oh boy did the tables ever turn!
I hope all the moms out there had a fantastic Mother’s Day! Every mom deserves to be appreciated and spoiled. Every mother with young children deserves to stay in bed all day and SLEEP, as really… can there be a better gift? (Two words: Sleep deprivation.)
Moving on, I’m going to share some Mother’s Day themed things I worked on for clients, and for my own relatives this year. As each mother deserves to be individually appreciated, I am going to post these things in separate posts over the next few days. Who knows, there may be some awesome announcement or something at the end too 😉
I put together these storyboards by request. Sandra lives in a different province from her mother, which means that Joshlyn (Sandra’s mom) doesn’t get to see her grandchildren as often as she’d like. So I put together these storyboards which are made up from the last photoshoot with the girls (done at Kenadee’s 6th birthday). First I put together the 4-image storyboard, but Sandra wanted more pictures than that, so I changed it to the 7-image one. From what I hear, Joshlyn loved it!
