Kristina and Edward were married on Friday at the Rotary Glen Banquet Hall in Brampton. I absolutely love outdoor weddings (especially in October!) and this one was no exception – just look at the gorgeous gazebo and the big willow tree in the background during the ceremony!

Kristina looked absolutely beautiful, and she had half her guests in tears when she was reading her vows. It was just the perfect wedding to end my 2012 wedding season!

Congrats Kristina & Ed!!!!!

Yesterday I was in Brampton at Chinguacousy Park with Kristina and Ed for their engagement session! Chinguacousy Park is a GREAT place for photos – and apparently it’s quite popular for wedding photos as well since there were at least 3 wedding parties we saw while we were there. I think this park will be my new “go to” park for photoshoots in the Brampton area!

Anyway, Kristina and Ed were naturals in front of the camera! I don’t think I really “posed” them that much, which I prefer actually. I would much rather put couples in good light and just let them be themselves.

Not only were we all laughing to the point of tears yesterday (well, Kristina and I were. haha), but we also discovered that all three of us have what we have named “Duck ADD”… if we saw a duck, the photos came to a halt, because our attention was totally diverted. Why smile for the camera when there is a DUCK?!? Ducks are awesome. (Ironically, none of the sneak peeks I’m posting below have any of the glorious ducks we saw.)

I can’t wait for their wedding in October – it’s going to be SO much fun!!

Who remembers Eric and Nadia’s wedding? Meeeee! Anyway, on that glorious day, Claire and I, the sneaky gals we are, did a little surprise for Eric and Nadia.

We snuck the bridal party away from the reception and we had each one (plus the flower girl!) spell out a letter with sparklers (that Claire brought along! Hurray for thinking ahead!).

With some fantastical lack-of-lighting suggestions from me on the bridal party’s shots, Claire shot all the images, and then I put them all together into one, super awesome composite! All Eric and Nadia knew was that we were making them stand together and wave their arms around in a heart-like formation in the darkness, for no apparent reason other than maybe a funky portrait of them. Bwahahaha!

The result – pure awesomeness!

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of assisting Claire again with another wedding!

I love assisting with other photographer’s weddings every now and then because I get the fun without any of the stress. (Okay well, considerably less stress.)

This time, we were just outside Brampton in a little (and beautiful!!) town called Terra Cotta. The ceremony and reception were both at the Terra Cotta Inn, and let me just say, what an incredible venue!! It’s absolutely gorgeous there!

We lucked into an absolutely beautiful day! When I first arrived there wasn’t a cloud in the sky (to be honest, I prefer a few clouds, but I’m not *that* picky.)! It was an outdoor ceremony, right by a little river. Luckily, there were no scantly clad tubers floating by during the ceremony – which I saw as I was scouting the grounds! (Though that would have made for some interesting photos, for sure.)

I scouted out some great photo locations, did some “details” shots, and when the boys arrived (in a limo! Not too often I see the boys riding in the limo!) I started with their pre-ceremony photos.

Well, enough of my rambling, here are a few images from Nadia and Eric’s wedding!
