King’s Riding Wedding | King City Wedding Photographer | King’s Riding Golf Club

Erin & Michael

Erin and Michael had ALL the weather for their King’s Riding wedding! It was cloudy, it rained, it hailed, it snowed, it was sunny, and it was consistently cold. But through all of that, Erin and Michael had a fantastic day with their family and friends, and they ended up married (which is the important part πŸ˜‰ ) at the end of it all!

How They Met

Technically, the first time Erin and Michael met, was on separate bike rides at a stop light. Officially, they met at a winter spin class! They went on their first date at Spuntini restaurant in Toronto. I assume things went well, because 4 years (minus 1 day) later, they were engaged!

The Proposal

Michael proposed in February, at home, while they were getting ready to take the dog for a walk.

Getting Ready

Everyone got ready at the King’s Riding Golf Club, in separate areas. It was nice because everyone was in close-proximity, but at the same time it was easy to make sure that Erin and Michael didn’t see each other before the ceremony!

The First Look

Erin and Michael opted to do a First Look before the ceremony. It was a bit chilly, but worth it! (Though, I may be biased, because I think that better quality photos are always worth temporarily freezing. Luckily it wasn’t THAT cold. ha)

The Newlyweds!

After a quick gift exchange, we were off to do photos of the soon-to-be husband & wife!

The Ceremony

By the time we were done photos, Erin and Michael were prettyyy cold, so they decided to move the ceremony indoors. Hurray warmth!

I don’t know of any photographers who don’t like the fall – the autumn colours make such beautiful scenery, not only on it’s own but also as a setting for family photos!

So needless to say, I’m always super excited to do fall photos as it’s my favourite time of year! Not only that, but little Ashwyn here is my son’s (and probably my daughter’s too) very best friend since they went to pre-school together last year! I’m so happy I was able to get this wonderful family in front of my lens and capture these gorgeous images for them! πŸ™‚

Kristina and Edward were married on Friday at the Rotary Glen Banquet Hall in Brampton. I absolutely love outdoor weddings (especially in October!) and this one was no exception – just look at the gorgeous gazebo and the big willow tree in the background during the ceremony!

Kristina looked absolutely beautiful, and she had half her guests in tears when she was reading her vows. It was just the perfect wedding to end my 2012 wedding season!

Congrats Kristina & Ed!!!!!
