After Olive did her first birthday cake smash, I suggested to her mom Louise, that she do a doggy cake smash for her first baby’s next birthday – her Basset Hound, Dryfuss! (You might remember him as he walked Louise down the aisle when she married the love of her life, Jeff!)

Well, the time finally came. Louise took the photos, and I edited them (yes, I provide photo editing services as well!) and combined them into the storyboard below. Louise’s first attempt was actually a “steak smash”, but Dryfuss gobbled up that steak in 3 bites! The next day Louise made quite a fancy “cake” (piled wet dog food), and it took Dryfuss a bit longer to eat it all. After this doggy cake smash, Dryfuss slept for the rest of the day – I guess he wasn’t used to having so much food!
